Iba MaHr was born on January 21, the artiste who's real name is Mario Greaves has emerged with a strong African culture, thus he was given the name by his friends.

His name is an African name Iba’ African name, meaning Humble and Calm while ‘MaHr’ is really an acronym, meaning Mario of Harar.

At age 19, he voiced his first song with CHARMAX MUSIC, chanting from Linstead, St. Catherine. Subsequently, he was able to sustain the many dangers and harm of his volatile community through the advocating of love, peace, righteousness, and spiritual consciousness.

He is quite humble and does not let anything or no one trouble his innate calm. His music ranges from reggae, lovers rock, and soulful roots genre.

In 2008, CHARMAX MUSIC and the late Max ‘Romeo’ Smith released Iba MaHr’s first recognized song, “HAD IT & LOST IT”, on the various artiste album titled, “DEVIL ON DI RUN”.
